Classic Florence

Tuscany's capital is an open-air museum of architecture and art, once the epicenter of culture and birthplace of the Renaissance and its Fine Art. Florence cannot be reduced to a single symbol: Michelangelo’s sculpture of David at the Accademia, the abundance of art at the Uffizi, the picturesque Ponte Vecchio and Brunelleschi’s Cupola over the Duomo are all worthy of a closer visit. A classic walking itinerary will give you a glimpse of them all, allowing an informed choice on which museum or monument to visit in detail next. Classic Florence is a walking itinerary that doesn’t include any paid admissions, but a visit to Santa Croce or S. Maria Novella can be included on tour (excluding ticket price).

Florence Museums Tour

Let yourself be guided through the museums that house the art and artifacts of the city that was once the epicenter of culture and see the collections of its greatest Patrons. Marvel at gothic masterpieces and learn about the Renaissance masters that created the most world-famous artworks at the Accademia and Uffizi Gallery, as well as at the Bargello museum. Florence Museum Tour can be applied to a visit of the Uffizi or a combined visit of the Accademia and Bargello museums. Siena Cathedral Complex

Take an in-depth visit of Siena’s cathedral complex to see not just the majesty of Siena’s Cathedral with its mosaic floor, but to continue into its undercroft or Crypt to view Italy’s oldest frescoes and on to the Baptistery. Climb the façade of its unfinished new cathedral for a scenic view over the whole city and surrounding countryside and marvel at the museum’s masterpieces inside. The tour visits all the sites valid on the cumulative ticket OPA SI PASS which can be purchased skip-the-line together with your guide (excluding ticket prices).
