The day begins with pick up from your accommodation at 2:00pm, to head south-east where our first stop is the town of Montepulciano. Built on top of a high hill, Montepulciano boasts elegant churches, palaces, piazzas and high walls designed by famous artists of the Renaissance. Begin to discover the flavours of the Nobile di Montepulciano wine and visit historical cellars hewn out from the ground beneath the city.
After Montepulciano, we continue to a beautiful olive farm for an introduction and tasting of the pungent and tasty Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil accompanied by some typical snacks of the area. Arrive in the magical town of Pienza and tour this Renaissance gem, the first town to be entirely planned out on paper by important architects and artists of the time under the patronage of Pope Pius II, the humanist pope that wanted to rennovate his native town and bring it to new splendor.
After Pienza, we make our way to a local organic dairy farm for a tour of the property and its animals. Be seated at a table on beautiful terrace overlooking the val d'Orcia valley, just as the colours change with the sunset. Indulge in the farm's fresh products that are carefully prepared for you and accompanied by a tasting of the farm's different cheeses (included). A complete, a-la-carte dinner allows you to freely choose whatever suits your tastes and desires (not included).
Return to your accommodation after dinner and before 11pm.
