For us traveling does not mean only visiting a new place. What matters most is the journey itself and what it gives us, the emotions it will make us feel and the memories we bring back. Going on holiday is not just choosing a destination and a hotel to stay in. It is about discovering a new world, meeting the foreign, the stranger, the new and witnessing the passions, flavours and traditions of the place you visit.
Holidays are the time we dedicate to ourselves, our loved ones and the things we enjoy. This is YOUR moment, long or short as it may be. Together we can organize it the way you want it in order to leave you more time to indulge in every moment. We welcome you to Tuscany where we live, and according to your needs and tastes, provide you with the right services Tuscanescapes by Papilio Tours

"It was a dream of mine to visit Tuscany's wine country. My husband and I travelled with our best friends and really wanted it to be something special. "Every minute of the tour with Claudia was magical. She clearly loves Siena with a passion and spent a lot of time answering our detailed questions about all that we saw. Her people skills are wonderful and she has a good sense of humor. Seeing Siena through her eyes was a delight. It is a magical city and the tour highlights its major buildings and its history beautifully."
Small Group Brunello wine tour
"My husband and I had a wonderful experience on the Brunello wine tasting day trip out of Siena. Elena was excellent. She shows a passion for her country and the wine. All of the tastings were excellent. The farmhouse lunch was incredible as well. It was wonderful talking to the owner and the chef as our meal was prepared. If you love wine and new experiences, then this is the best you can do for both. "
Small Group Pienza and Montepulciano tour
"Silvia as our tour hostess was totally awesome! This was the best deal of any tour we have hired in the past bar none. We saw a lot of the beautiful Tuscan country and towns. We had a meal to die for at an organic farm where everything was produced on the farm: wheat/flour/bread, red and white wine, various cheeses, and fresh vegetables. It will be well remembered and talked about in our household. "
Small Group San Gimignano and Volterra tour
"Our guide, Marella, was outstanding! Her knowledge was incredible and her enthusiasm for what she was sharing with us was infectious. The lunch included was a highlight, the host couple were amazing and the food beautiful. The alabaster workshop was also a highlight and the artisan very talented. The 3 towns visited, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and Volterra were each interesting in their own right. What a great day!"
Private Val d’Orcia and Montalcino tour
"We were so fortunate to have the opportunity to join Milo on a journey through Tuscany. It seemed to both of us that at each stop our mouths were open with awe and amazement! we visited small hill-top communities, tasted a wonderful organic farm lunch overlooking a valley, sampled sheep and goat cheese, and sipped wine with master wine makers of two very different vineyards during harvest! What was so great about travelling with Milo was his knowledge and passion of the history of the region and his warmth and accommodating personality. We would definitely not hesitate to plan another trip with him!"
