Cacio al Fuso - from 2 to 5 September

50th edition of the traditional festival dedicated to the Pecorino di Pienza. Saturday 4 and Sunday, September 5, at 4pm, before the young, then the experts launch the revamped competition which sees the six districts of the City of Pius II pledged to revive the pavement of Piazza Duomo, the old farmer that animated the game 'yard of the farm of Val d'Orcia.  Around the Fair, series of initiatives: August 29th through the streets of the old town art, music, dance, flag bearers and drummers and fragrant stalls of cheese in all varieties, from fresh to semi-cured, through the fragrant forms aged in walnut leaves. Scheduled for Sunday, August 29 at 15.30 and Sunday, September 5 at 16.30 a visit very special drama, titled "Rodrigo tells ..". In addition to the cheese of Pienza you can try other local produce.
