The cost of tickets to the Duomo (Cathedral) and any museums as well as the lunch is not included in the price. But can be arranged on request when making the booking.
The itinerary can be personalized according to your taste. You may also choose to change or add museums to your tour from the list below.
With an small extra fee it is possible to include a tasting of local products, wines and sweets. It is also possible to add a museum of your choice to the tour. Previous booking is recommended.
On request, we can also arrange round trip transportation from your accommodation to the starting point of the tour.
Siena and tradition
The tour includes a tasting of local products. You can choose a sweets tasting of the city’s many sweet varieties accompanied by a coffee, or a savory tasting of cold cuts and wine.
This itinerary is ideal for people who want to come into contact with the traditions and the culture of the city.

Siena and Art
This itinerary is recommended to people who are interested in art and sculpture and want to learn more about the artistic and historic background of Siena.

The cost of tickets to the Town hall, Duomo (Cathedral) and any museums as well as the lunch is not included in the price.

Adjacent to the Cathedral are the museums of the Opera Metropolitana that holds the colossal Majesty by Duccio di Buoninsegna, and in front of the Duomo, the old Hospital of Santa Maria della Scala. Both worthy of a visit and can be included in your tour if requested when booking (in this case the tour could also be divided into 2 days).
During the tour on request it is possible to stop for a tasting of the local products such as the many deserts or cold cuts with pecorino cheeses and a glass of wine.
On request it is possible to add to any of the tours the entrance and guided tour to any of the places listed below:
- The Baptistery of the XIV century, inside works of Donatello and important local artists.
- The Crypt, with the ancient dry paintings
- The Cathedral, the Romanesque and gothic masterpiece of Siena with the Libreria Piccolomini and the fabulous marble floor made from 56 pictures.
- The Santa Maria della Scala, the old Hospital which hosts the archaeological museum and other interesting exhibitions.
- The Museo dell’opera del Duomo, where you can find the masterpiece of Duccio di Buoninsegna, father of Sienese painting.
- The Civic Palace (Town Hall) where the fresco of the Good and Bed Government by Ambrogio Lorenzetti and the Maestà by Simone Martini are held.
- The Pinacoteca Nazionale The national art gallery where many painting of famous artists from Siena are kept.
- A Contrada’s society and church, where the trophies of the contrada are kept and where the past is very tangible
